Matthew Zalar

 Matt began Zalars LLC in 2005 with a dream, a truck, a skid steer and a trailer. He has grown his business to include residential and commercial customers, through his exemplary drive for distinction. Because of his commitment, he has maintained his position as owner/operator and has worked on and in the business for 12 years.

Matt is a resident of Baldwin , where he raises his three boys... Chase, Tanner and Nolan. Also two German Shepherds Taz and Zoe.

Previously, Matt worked as a probation/parole officer for Greene, Dauphin and Allegheny counties ; was an infantryman in the PA Army National Guard; a Military Policeman in the US Army in Iraq. He also believes in a commitment to his community; as he has served as Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach at Baldwin HS; and has donated his time and expertise to local Boy Scout Troops and their Eagle Scout projects. Even now, Matt continues to maintain his role in the PA National Guard as a Nodal Systems Network Operator-Maintainer.

Matt graduated with honors from Waynesburg College with a BA in Criminal Justice and an MBA of Criminal Justice.

As a result of Matt's diverse history, he brings his enthusiasm for the community; his discipline; and his commitment to excellence to his company and to his customers.

Theresa Harding

Theresa manages the office and administrative responsibilities for Zalar’s LLC. She has over 20 year's experience as a Controller and Vice President in Real Estate Development and Construction; as well as private business ownership.  She brings to the table, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

Adam Abels

 Adam has 16 years experience in the industry and is now in his sixth season with Zalar's. Adams knowledge and attention to detail make him a great asset to the team.

Vollie Mullins

With combined decades of experience in Equipment Repairs and a spacious, supplied workshop; the repair crew at Zalar’s LLC is able to make repairs to most small Landscaping Equipment. Our Workshop Leader, Vollie is both friendly and knowledgeable in both engine repair and machinery.

Chase Zalar

Matt Zalar’s oldest son has joined our crew! He brings hard work and offers support to our landscaping team.
